Nollywood Actor, Zubby Michael Slams Organizers Of Africa Magic Viewers Award


Nollywood actor, Azubuike Michael Egwu, Popularly known as Zubby Michael has slammed the organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards over an alleged rejection of “pillars of Nollywood”.

The actor said most of the organizers of the award are Yorubas, describing it as a “joke and highly political.

He also wondered why the original owner of “Living in Bondage” was snubbed while its remake got 8 awards.

Zubby Michael has featured in movies alongside other top Nigeria actors and actresses like Jim Iyke, Ini Edo, Tonto Dike, Mike Ezuruonye, Nonso Diobi, Oge Okoye, Patience Ozokwor, Olu Jacobs, John Okafor (Mr. Ibu), Sam Dede, Uche Jumbo, Nkem Owoh, Majick (Ghana), John Dumelo, Mercy Johnson, Van Vicker, Junior Pope, Chacha Eke, Emeka Ike, Uche Ogbodo, Kenneth Okonkwo, Jack Appiah and a host of other Nigerian and African movie stars.

The Nigerian actor also starred in more than 25 movies including Royal Storm, Game Mistress, Professional Lady, Twins on Fire, The Generals, Three Widows, Above Implication, Mr. and Mrs. Ibu 1-2. People thought I was going to fail – Kelvyn Boy Afrobeat singer, Kelvyn Boy, says some individuals in the Ghanaian music fraternity thought he was not going to amount to anything after parting ways with his former label, Burniton Music Group.
