Wicked Grandmother Burns Little Girl's Hands For Stealing Noodles (Photos)

There were reports of a little girl whose hands were burnt by her grandmother for eating noodles without her grandmother’s consent.

According to reports, the little girl has been able to undergo surgery to correct the damage in the University Of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) and the Wicked old woman has been arrested,

The little girl was simply identified as Hope, she had her hands burnt by her grandmother who placed them over a gas stove in Edo State which had caused serious outrage online.

The Edo state Commissioner of Women Affairs and Social Development in company with the Permanent Secretary paid a visit to Hope in UBTH.

A well-meaning Nigerian who witnessed the incident reported the case to the Edo State Ministry of Women Affairs and the Ministry has stepped in, arrested the grandmother and has taken the child to UBTH for prompt medical care and attention.

SHS Boy, 18 Shot by armed Police at Techiman

A senior High school boy identified as Obeng Emmanuel, aged 18, has allegedly been shot by an armed police officers at Krobo near Techiman in the Bono East Region. The incident occurredon Sunday at 12:05am. According to sources, the boy was shot by the officers after he allegedly pelted them with stones at the Krobo area while they were on patrol. The two officers, Constable Owusu Mensah and Constable Dominic Amankona who were on motorbikes in an attempt to defend themselves and escape, fired a warning shot which hit the victim on the shoulder. Meanwhile, the victim is currently on oxygen at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Holy Family Hospital in Techiman. The family of Obeng Emmanuel has refuted allegations leveled against their child, insisting he never pelted stones at the police officers as claimed.
